Chipotle powder is a mildly spicy chili powder made from chipotle peppers, which are smoked and dried jalapeno peppers. It is perfect for adding smokiness and flavor to many dishes.

Our homemade anti-inflammatory Chipotle Seasoning is a great spicy mix to have on hand. Use it as a rub for chicken, steak, seafood and roasted veggies. You can also add Chipotle Seasoning to soups and sauces for that unique combination of smoky flavor with a little peppery heat. It’s so versatile!  If you don’t like it spicy, use less chipotle pepper.

 

Chipotle Seasoning

This simple anti-inflammatory spice mix makes approximately 1/3 cup and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 months.
Course Spice Mix

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Tbsp crushed red or chipotle pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Store in air-tight container for up to 4 months.
