Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

This smoothie is full of berries, greens and healthy fat to give an anti-inflammatory boost to your breakfast or snack. Switch up your fruits and vegetables as often as you like to help get you out of a smoothie rut.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • 6 strawberries or other fresh berries of choice chopped
  • ¼ inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and sliced
  • ¼ inch piece of fresh turmeric peeled and sliced
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp flax seeds
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for several minutes until smooth in consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
