Creamy Avocado Dressing (or Dip)
On an anti-inflammatory diet, people often struggle to find a creamy dressing for a salad or a dip. This recipe will not disappoint. Use it as a delicious salad dressing or serve it with veggies as a dip! It will definitely brighten up an appetizer table!
- 1 ripe avocado peeled, pitted and chopped
- 1 Tbsp olive or avocado oil
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp honey or pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1 large lemon for 1 tsp zest and all juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor, blending until smooth and creamy.
If dressing is too thick, add a little more water to thin it.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
