Baked Apples
Anti-inflammatory baked apples are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast, snack, dessert or side dish that is perfect year-round. To make baked apples, you'll need just a few ingredients and an appetite for a sweet and savory bite!

- 1 medium apple
- 2 Tbsp walnuts chopped
- 2 Tbsp raisins chopped
- 1½ tsp ghee or clarified butter melted
- ¼ tsp cinnamon or to taste
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ cup water
- Honey or pure maple syrup
Cut the apple in half around the middle and spoon out some of the flesh. Place the apple in a small cake pan.
In a small bowl, combine ghee, cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts and raisins. Spoon the mixture into the centers of the apple halves.
Pour water into the pan and place the cake pan in the air fryer basket. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Drizzle honey or pure maple syrup over the top of the apples.
