Ingredients

  • 1 \u00bc<\/span> cups<\/span> sliced fresh mushrooms<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> onion<\/span> finely chopped<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> tsp<\/span> olive oil<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> cups<\/span> water<\/span><\/li>
  • 15<\/span> oz<\/span> pizza sauce<\/span> no added sugar<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> chopped pepperoni<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> chopped fresh tomatoes<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> cooked Italian sausage<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bc<\/span> tsp<\/span> Italian seasoning<\/span><\/li>
  • Fresh chopped basil or parsley <\/span> for garnish<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bc<\/span> cup<\/span> grated Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese<\/span> optional<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

    Instructions
    <\/div> <\/h3>
    • In a large saucepan, saute mushrooms and onion in oil for 2-3 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients (except cheese).\u00a0 Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.<\/div><\/li>
    • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.<\/div><\/li>
    • Optional:\u00a0 Before serving, stir in Parmesan cheese. Garnish with mozzarella cheese.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
